Seungyeon Kim, CEO, is leading the transformation of Next Securities into Korea’s premier next-generation trading platform. With extensive experience in global fintech, brokerage, and digital platforms, he has a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving profitability. Before joining Next Securities, he served as CEO of Toss Securities, where he led the company to profitability, growing it into Korea’s fastest-growing mobile brokerage and a dominant position in U.S. equity trading. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at TikTok, where he built and scaled monetization and business operations across Korea and Southeast Asia, overseeing multi-billion-dollar revenue growth.

Hongmin Choi is overseeing business operations of Next Securities as COO. He is a business expert with 10 years of experience in global management consulting firms and investment firms. Before joining Next Securities, he has served as corporate strategy lead at Toss Securities overseeing the development and execution of corporate strategy, contributing to the company’s profitability. He has also worked at McKinsey & Company leading various corporate transformation initiatives and strategies, as well as hedge funds in Hong Kong and Singapore including Asiya Investment and J&CAdvisory. 

Jennifer Jeong leads the overall product strategy at Next Securities, driving customer experience innovation and strengthening new growth engines. Previously, she was responsible for product and growth strategy at companies including Viva Republica (Toss), Toss Securities, Kakao, PetFriends, and Banksalad, where she led large-scale platform transformations and the development and execution of growth roadmaps for core businesses. Drawing on her extensive experience in data-driven product innovation and business growth across the fintech industry, she contributes to enhancing the product competitiveness of Next Securities.

Jay Ko is overseeing the company’s entire tech organization. He is responsible for core technology development across institutional business systems, enterprise operations, and new retail initiatives, including infrastructure and cloud, AI engines, and next-generation ledger systems. Ko brings extensive experience leading large-scale platform development and engineering teams at leading financial and technology firms such as Musinsa, KakaoBank, QuotaLab, and Endowus

Heekyun Kim oversees the company-wide information security strategy and the strengthening of security governance at Next Securities. With more than 20 years of experience in the security field across the financial and fintech industries, he previously led financial security, personal data protection, and the establishment and operation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) at Viva Republica (Toss) and KB Life Insurance. Based on his extensive experience in financial security, he focuses on ensuring the stability and reliability essential for retail financial services.

Hyunji Baik leads the integrated communications strategy at Next Securities, overseeing marketing, PR, and content. She is a communications expert with extensive experience in corporate communications and strategic messaging across the finance and tech industries. Previously, she managed corporate communications and media relations at Toss Securities, Viva Republica (Toss), and Remember. She also has prior experience working as a financial journalist covering the securities industry.

Jieun Park is leading financial strategy, planning and operations at Next Securities. Possessing over 18 years of experience in the financial sector, she has managed financial planning and accounting in various financial firms in Korea including Hana Capital, DGB Capital, KIDB, Meritz Capital. Prior to joining Next Securities, she has also served as finance leader at Toss Securities overseeing budgeting and financial reporting of the company.
